Messiah Jesus is the one and only nominated Savior by God!
Jesus the Messiah says: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Injil: Mathew 11:28-30
“No one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the spirit.” The Holy Spirit (Ruhul Kudds) of God came to the womb of Marry and conceived a Child: His Name is Messiah Jesus. He came so men can have salvation through Him. Holy Scriptures explain: “Whoever believe in Him shall have eternal life.” Messiah Jesus says; “I am the way, the truth and and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 3:5,15 & 14:6
Even Quran explains Messiah like this: “Jesus Ruhullah/Ruhul Kudds/Holy Spirit/Pak-ruh”. Messiah is “the Word of God.” “A grace and a great sign from God for all mankind.” Messiah is “the light & command of God.” His way is the “straight way (Siratul Mustakim).” His followers would be superior to those who disbelieve (Kafer/Infidel). This is all “about a matter decreed (pre-planned by God)” and His Word is the guidance to the straights path of righteousness and light for mankind. Sura Bakara (2):87,253, Al-Imran (3):45-46,55, Nisa (4):171, Mayeda (5):44,46,110, Miriam (19):17,21,36, Ambiya (21):91, Tahrim (66):12, Jukhruf (43):57-61, Bakara (2):47,122.
“Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary; (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute. Sura Miriam 19:34.
A wrong idea and false excuses keep the Muslim community from reading the Holy Scriptures (Kitabul Mukaddos containing Taurat, Jabur & Injil). Indeed the Quran guides us again and again to read and study the Scriptures (Kitab). Even the Quran tells Mohammed: “If you have doubt in Quran ask those who have been reading the Books from before you (Taurat, Jabur & Injil). Indeed truth comes from the Lord, so don’t be doubtful to the Word of God.” Sura Younus (10):94 . It is also written that “you have no ground to stand unless you stand fast by the Law (Taurat), the Gospel (Injil) and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord. It is the revelation that come to you from the Lord.” Sura Mayeda (5):68. “There is a guidance and light for those who believe in Torah and Injil.” Sura Mayeda (5);44,46. “Therefore follower of these books surely deserve Paradise and many will go from these books.” Sura Bakara (2):62, Mayeda (5):69 & Wakia (56):13.
Verily we are denying the truth and escaping from the grace of God! Messiah Jesus is the name given by God. Jesus means “the Savior”, and Messiah means “the selected or nominated one by God.” He was conceived in the womb of Mary by the miraculous Holy Spirit of God. The Light of God came to this world and He lived completely perfect, sinless and holy life. Sin and Evil never tainted Him.
For forgiveness of our sins, we find 6 stories of Sacrifices (Korbani) in the Scriptures.
There are three clear verses in Quran that speak of Messiah’s crucifixion: Sura Al-Imran (3):55, Miriam (19):15 and 33. Please read these carefully, looking for these two words “mutuwafika” (cause to die) and “mutuwahhiruka” (raised from death): “Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take (cause to die) thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme;” (Al-Imran 55). “So Peace on him the day he was born, the day that he dies, and the day that he will be raised up to life (again)!” (Miriam 15). “”[Jesus said,] So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)”! (Miriam 33)
Truly we have been trying with our heart and soul to receive salvation by many different ways. That’s why we sacrifice clean animals for our sins to be forgiven. But our sins are increasing day by day! Is it possible for us to enter to the paradise with all of these sins? Adam had only one sin (He disobeyed God), therefore God cast Him out from His presence. So God sent Jesus The Messiah by the powerful Holy Spirit to reconcile us to Himself. Despite being perfect and holy, he was judged as a guilty in human court. Miserably He died on the Cross, went to the grave and rose up again on third day. A grace and gift from God for mankind. Therefore, by confessing our sins and asking forgiveness and accepting Messiah as our Savior, submitting to the Holy Spirit of God, by faith only we can ensure our salvation. Because there is power & glory & salvation in the blood of Messiah! Every nation and every language group are eagerly waiting for Messiah to come, and everybody believes that He is coming with reward. The reward is confirmed if we prepare ourselves and know Him and establish our faith in Him before His second coming! Jesus said, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me, that you also may be where I am.” (John 14:3)
In heaven and earth and even the grave, every nation and tribe will bow down before Messiah and give thanks to the Lord. (Romans 14:11, Phil 2:10) Jesus said, ““Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” (Revelation 22:12-13) Therefore, anyone who hears the Word of God and believes, their name shall be written in the Book of Life and will be qualified for the Holy City of God. Let us pray and seek God’s help to know more about Jesus. Let us ask the Holy Spirit to dwell in us. This is how we can ensure our salvation before our departure from earth. The assurance of salvation comes through Jesus the Messiah. God helps us to understand his Great Plan. Amen.
